Middlefell View Cottage

A holiday cottage with three bedrooms (one double and two twin), one bathroom and one shower room. The twin rooms and family bathroom with over bath shower are upstairs and the double room with shower room are on the ground floor. The original oak beams give character to the bedrooms and bathroom. The entrance hall with plenty of coat and boot & shoe storage leads into the open plan kitchen / living room to provide every comfort for your stay.

Middlefell view is one half of the converted barn and has a very large south facing window with a sunny window seat in the lounge area where the old barn door used to be. The underfloor heating gives a pleasant overall warm atmosphere, which can be enhanced with the use of the wood burning stove.

Outside is a small enclosed private garden with cobbled paths, dry stone walls and a secure stone outhouse for storage of bikes etc. There is plenty of space for parking cars around the barn, which is situated about 100 metres from the road. There are footpaths leading directly from the barn to walk along the river or over the local moors.

Facilities

The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob with electric oven and microwave. There is also a washer/dryer and dishwasher, fridge, kettle, toaster, and iron and ironing board. The lounge area has colour TV, DVD/CD player. All bed linen and towels are included. All fuel and electricity is included for the oil fired heating and wood-burning stove. There is a secure stone built outhouse for cycle and other storage. Pets are welcome if kept under control, as sheep & lambs graze within a few metres of the barn.
