Occupancy, Pets & Smoking Restrictions
Both the Middlefell view and Wellhope view are non-smoking and accommodate
6 and 4 adults respectively. The whole barn can be let as one to
enable 10 people to holiday together. Well-behaved dogs are welcome
in the main living areas of the cottages, (we charge £20 per
week per animal). The sheep fields are very close to the barn and
lambs are born from Easter onwards so dogs need to be well controlled
at all times.
Arrivals and Departures
Our changeover day falls on a Saturday and we request that guests depart
before 10.30 am and arrive after 3.30pm. Please visit our tariff page

Outside & Parking
Both cottages have separate gardens, individual secure stone built cycle
stores will be available from May 2008. There is ample parking.
We also have hens to provide beautiful eggs for your breakfast when they
are laying well.
Relaxation
Both cottages benefit from a rural location, a log burning stove, colour
TV, DVD player, games and books. Excellent walking and cycling
from your cottage door.
Facilities, Shops, Restaurants
and pubs
There are two excellent restaurants within a 5 minute walk from Hudgill
(Lovelady Shield Hotel and Nenthall Hotel with a bar which serves bar food).
In Alston there are many pubs with restaurants, a fish and chip shop and Pizza
takeaway. The Co-Op is open 7 days from early till late.
Doctors, Dentist and Vets are situated in Alston,
you will also find butchers with
prize winning sausages, Banks, Post Office and two garages. Taxis are
available.
What's Included
Welcome pack containing tea, coffee, sugar, milk, eggs, bread and wine.
All fuel, bed linen and towels included.
Payment
We accept payment by cheques or credit cards through PayPal. £100 deposit
on booking, balance to be paid by 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Short Breaks
Short breaks of a minimum of 3 nights are available in winter spring
and autumn (not Easter and Half terms). They can start midweek to Saturday
morning or Saturday pm to Midweek.
